Hobonichi Techo - Moomin: Index Sticky Notes (Friends of Moominvalley)
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
These sticky notes can be placed so they peek out from the edges of your techo pages, serving as handy index tabs. They are shaped like the silhouettes of characters from the Moomin stories. The characters that appear include Moomintroll, Snufkin, and Little My. These are colorful film sticky notes that look cute even when several are overlapped. You can also write notes on top of them with a pen or pencil.
