Introducing Artist & Creator of Maple & Luna, Jessenia Hernandez. All designs of our Limited Edition 10 Year Birthday Celebration goods featuring Maple and Luna were created by Jessenia for our special celebration.

Jessenia is a Mexican-American illustrator working and playing in Orange County, California. She has been creating illustrations ever since her first drawings as a little kid and decided to pursue it as a career in high school. Her work centers around the small pleasures of life and moments that make her smile. She hopes to inspire a sense of curiosity and playfulness when viewing her work.

She has been a part of our team for nearly two years. When it came time to begin planning our 10 year, we knew she would create something perfect for our celebration.

Her inspiration for our 10 year designs was first based on Maple! Maple was designed as a stamp for the shop and as a character on a sticker sheet. She knew Maple needed a friend, so Luna, a cream-colored bunny was created. The original designs were based on coffee cream and a dumpling. She wanted their friendship to be warm and adventurous, much like Mel and Liz! You'll often see Maple and Luna with big, excited smiles on their faces.

We can't wait to show you how Maple & Luna spend their time in their stationery playground!
