PRE-ORDER Hobonichi Techo - Kakimori x TSUKI no IRO: Pigment Ink - Hobonichi Techo Standard Color
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
Kakimori’s line of stationery products, ranging from notebooks to pens and ink, are crafted to “celebrate the joy of writing,” which they believe can not only give form to our thoughts, but also enrich our interactions with others. They do this while also honoring the environment through the development of creative solutions to reduce waste.

It is a deep blue-gray inspired by the color of the graph paper, making it a shade that blends well with the pages.

- Designed to minimize clogging in nibs while also being water and bleed resistant.
- Fade and smudge resistant, even in the rain. For words that stand the test of time.
