Hobonichi Techo Weeks - Keiko Shibata: Clear Cover for Weeks (Dog Ears Fluttering in the Wind)
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

This collaboration with Keiko Shibata features artwork of hers based on the theme "wind." This design vertically arranges 7 kinds of dogs, each with their ears flapping in the strong wind. They're drawn in a unique style, with their little round eyes and flowing hair against the wind.
