Hobonichi Techo Weeks Cover - Single Color: Notte
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
A chic, black cover that is reminiscent of a quiet night sky. “Notte” means “night” in Italian. The cover material is a high quality Italian polyurethane. It is lightweight and easy to carry around, and the embossing on all sides gives an impression of refinement and polish.
