Hobonichi Techo - V&A Series: Almost Actual-Size Jewellery Stickers
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
These transparent stickers are perfect for decorating the monthly and daily pages of your techo. This is a collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London). Highlighting brooches from the late 18th to the early 20th century, these treasured pieces reveal the story of European design and have been recreated as stickers, nearly true to their original size.
