Hobonichi Techo - TSUKI no IRO: Mini Card Set
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colors across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series incorporates these colors into simple designs. A mini card set featuring 12 fun and whimsical shapes, with two of each design. Comes in a sleeve-style box decorated with silver foil stamping in the shape of the cards, along with one matching seal sticker and six translucent envelopes.
