Hobonichi Techo - TSUKI no IRO: Bookmark-Style Foil-Pressed Stickers
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colors across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series incorporates these colors into simple designs. A foil-stamped sticker that can be inserted between pages and used like a bookmark. You can stick them on the monthly or daily pages as accents, use them to attach memos, or even decorate letters and gifts. Featuring silver foil stamping on 12 colors, these stickers also offer a fun, textured feel.
