Hobonichi Techo - Hobonichi Pencil Board (HON)
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This clear pencil board is designed specifically for the Hobonichi Techo HON. It comes with a pen hook so you can carry a pen along with your techo. It features a 5 mm graph pattern printed all over. Since it has 1 mm markings on the long edge, and both 0.5 mm and 1/16 inch markings on the short edge, it can also be used as a ruler.
