Hobonichi Techo - Collect & Collage: Pasting Notebook
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This series was created under the theme of beautifully gathering and preserving your everyday memories. This is a slim scrapbook notebook that combines blank spaces and a grid. You can create a wonderful page layout simply by pasting your “paper memories” in the blank space and adding a brief note on the graph paper. The paper is crisp, thick, and durable, which prevents warping and bumps after pasting, making it a great feature that lets you stick things in with ease.
