Hobonichi Techo 5-Year A5 Cover Only - Moomin: Written Memories
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

Created to become a book for your own unique story, it includes the Finnish words for “A tale of 5 years—a book like no other in the world,” which are embossed in foil under the image. The cover interior is printed with a map of Fir Tree Bay, and the bookmark is a vivid red.
