Hobonichi Graph Notebook A5
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This graph-paper notebook is made with Tomoe River paper, opens completely flat, and the printing comes in four different colors across the book. Contains 288 pages with the same 3.7 mm grid as the Hobonichi Techo Cousin. The color of the grid changes every 72 pages (red → blue → green → purple), making it easy to divide the notebook into sections by theme and to find what you’ve written later.
- 5.8" x 8.3"
- Color-Coded Sections: The notebook's 288 pages divided into four 60-page sections with the use of different ink colors for the grid pattern—red, blue, green, and then purple.
- Tomoe River Paper - ultra-thin and fountain pen friendly. Despite its thinness, the paper is remarkably resistant to ink bleed through.
- Lay-flat binding
