Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This memo pad set fits perfectly with the A6 size cover. Uses Tomoe River paper, a thin, durable, and easy-to-write-on paper. With a thickness of just under 2 mm, this notebook contains 48 pages—perfectly sized to fit in an A6 Original cover.
