Bungubox was founded in 2012 in Shizuoka, Japan with the goal of connecting and expanding people’s relationships through writing. They believe that writing done with a fountain pen can reveal not only a person’s thoughts, but also facets of their personality. This can be communicated through the choice of ink color, which they believe to be part of the “joy” in the process, and the reason behind their tagline “Ink tells more.”
