2027 Hobonichi Techo HON A5 English Hardcover Planner Book - V&A Series: Vine
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This is a collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London). Drawing from the museum’s unparalleled collections, designs created by William Morris and his creative companions have been turned into a HON book. The cover features "Vine" designed in 1873, with ripe grape clusters entwined in lush leaves.
