2027 Hobonichi Techo HON A5 English Hardcover Planner Book - Hiroko Kubota: String Telephone Until the Moon is Full
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
Featuring exclusive original artwork by Hiroko Kubota, this HON depicts a scene of meadow grass swaying in the gentle breeze. Against the sunset sky, a cat and wolf chat over their string telephone, while a mouse rides its unicycle back and forth along the line. It beautifully captures nostalgic interactions and that perfect flow of time you wish would last forever as the crescent moon slowly waxes.
