DESCRIPTION

Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

For 2027, the A5 Cover will be sold separately from the planner book.

A light, slim, and highly portable design that pursues simplicity, much like a standard book cover. The pen band features a natural leather patch. It allows you to securely carry two pens of different thicknesses at the same time and ensures your techo won't accidentally open in your bag.
