2027 Hobonichi Techo Japanese Weeks - Moomin: At the Table
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This special edition Weeks book is filled with quotes and original artwork from the Moomin novels. The weekly and memo pages are filled with quotes and illustrations of the Moominvalley friends, taken directly from the novels. The monthly calendars and the bonus pages at the back also feature charming illustrations. The cover highlights original artwork from the novel "Moominsummer Madness." The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.
