2027 Hobonichi Techo HON A5 English Hardcover Planner Book - Slash (Navy)
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
Gold foiling is pressed diagonally onto this black-leaning dark navy cover. The design motif is inspired by the slash (/) symbol commonly used when writing dates. Bound in a matte-textured cloth that feels comfortable in your hands, the spine is finished with the year 2027 and the HON logo stamped in gold foil.
