Hobonichi Techo - TSUKI no IRO: Sticky Notes (Guide)
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colors across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series incorporates these colors into simple designs. This set of four sticky notes comes in an easy-to-use size. The Guide set includes helpful writing guides and features colors based on the Hobonichi Techo’s monthly colors from September to December. The designs incorporate techo motifs like the daily page’s to-do list and the dot grid from the Planner’s memo pages.
