Hobonichi Techo A5 Planner Cover Only - Makoto Matsubayashi: Pink Flowers
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
For 2027, the A5 Cover will be sold separately from the planner book.
A techo cover made using a drawing by printmaker and artist Makoto Matsubayashi. Printed on a pink background with a large flower drawn in carefree strokes of a crayon. This cover will make you happy and energized just by looking at it. One of the charms on the two bookmarks is also a flower designed by Matsubayashi.
