- The Shikiori series beautifully captures the essence of Japan's four seasons. This new collection is themed "Noyama-no-Uta," which translates to Songs of the Mountains, and is inspired by the various birds that appear throughout the 72 micro-seasons of the ancient Japanese calendar, with the designs "reminiscent of the chirping of birds echoing deep in the mountains. Representing summer, Waka-taka (Hawk Apprentice), is based on young hawks screeching robustly as they learn the art of flying, featuring a warm, earthy translucent brown body that is complemented by a transparent yellow cap top.
