Tamagotchi: Hobonichi Folder Set of 3 for A6 Size

Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

These folders fit into the pockets of A6 size Hobonichi Techo covers. A design set born from a collaboration with the digital handheld pet, Tamagotchi. Each card features a scene inspired by the world of Tamagotchi on the front and a care screen on the back. This three-card set includes: an ice cream and boombox scene with Oyajitchi; a UFO design with Techotchi; and a Tamagotchi Town motif with Mametchi.
