Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colors across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series incorporates these colors into simple designs. These stickers can be used to highlight or decorate your plans on the monthly or daily pages. The set includes five sheets with different designs: stickers with text, frame-style stickers, various shapes, and two types of easy-to-use scheduling icons. They have a matte finish, so you can write on top of them.
