2026 Hobonichi Techo Planner & Cover English A6 - Quilt

Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

For 2026, the A6 Cover will not be sold separately. It will be bundled with the 2026 Hobonichi Techo A6 English Original Book.

• This A6 Hobonichi Techo Original book does not have a weekly layout. A fun feature of this edition is that each month is printed in a different color.

This planner also includes a Pocket-sized A6 Cover:

A pouch-like cover in a pale sage green quilting material. The soft base layer makes this cover durable, so you can freely throw in your techo and notepad, stationery, smartphone or other item to easily carry around with you. The cover can be zipped shut, and inside is a pen hook that can store a pen by its clip.
