2026 Hobonichi Techo English Weeks - Paper Series: Sky
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
DETAILS
Wallet-sized Techo Weeks in English Features:
A paper with a smooth texture is used for the cover. The color is a bright blue, like a hazy yet bright, spring sky. While at first glance, this may look like a simple, single-color techo, upon closer inspection, you will see that a delicate layer of powder-like glitter covers all sides. Depending on the amount of light that shines on it, it will show its elegant sparkle. The year 2026 is stamped in silver foil.
