December 6: Intro to Brush Lettering with Wink & Wonder

Workshop Description:
Learn the basics of brush lettering in this 3-hour workshop with Joanna Muñoz from Wink & Wonder! This class is designed for beginners or anyone looking to elevate their current skillset. No previous experience is required and all skill levels are welcome.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll learn:
- 8 basic strokes
- Upper and lowercase alphabet instruction
- How to connect letters to form words
- How to add swashes & flourishes
- How to letter a full composition
- How to fix mistakes you can’t erase
This workshop is great for anyone that wants to:
- Learn calligraphy without using a dip pen and ink
- Improve their penmanship
- Incorporate brush lettering into their work
Each student will receive their own name card and lettering kit to take home, which includes:
- Instructional Guide
- Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen
- Sharpie Pen
- Pencil
- Blank Greeting Card + Envelope
What else do you need to know?
You do not need to bring anything else to the workshop, just yourself! The registration cost is all-inclusive of materials needed for this experience!
