Hobonichi Techo - Unforgettable Day Stickers: not a dream
Hobonichi started as a lifestyle website “Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun,” [Almost Daily Itoi Newspaper] in 1998 featuring “almost-daily” essays by founder and editor-in-chief, Shigesato Itoi, who is well known for other ventures including game design and songwriting. In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.
This set of 26 stickers is designed to add a special touch to days that stand out from the rest. There are unique frame stickers to go around things you’ve written in your techo and other places, line stickers that you can mix and match together however you like, translucent stickers that have a sparkling hologram effect, and stickers that are illustrated with various motifs indicative of an unforgettable day.
Illustrator Nutoguran collaborated with Hobonichi on these sparkling Heavenly Sweets stickers that serve as a special treat for special days. They have a soft color palette with a touch of neon and pearl sparkles to really make these designs into super special decorations.
