October 26: Beginner Script Calligraphy

The workshop will take place in our shop at 305 E. 4th St. Unit 103, Santa Ana, CA 92701 

Class Size: 20 students 

 *Those attending with others can request to be seated together by indicating they are in the same group

Workshop Description:

In our Beginner Workshop we learn the basics of pointed pen calligraphy.  We will get comfortable using a pointed pen and trouble-shoot and problems that arise, and learn a classic, simple script. I truly believe that learning basic script provides a strong foundation to all other calligraphy - modern calligraphy, your own unique style, etc, so to me, it is the #1 most important thing to work on, whether you are a true beginner, or even if you have a little experience under your belt.

You will receive:

• 2 different nib holders
• 3 different nibs
• A jar of ink
• A pad of calligraphy paper

Space is limited. Registration in advance is required. 

What else do you need to know?

You do not need to bring anything else to the workshop, just yourself! The registration cost is all-inclusive of materials needed for this experience!
